1. Victory, O Taima, victory follows
If you have doubt, the matter is clear

2. Leave the messengers to go on, no blame on you
How can security disregard the panic of horror?

3. If you lower your wing to enjoy
A settled, serene living, you are excused

4. Does a bird ever raise its wing
When the falcon swoops or the eagle takes off?

5. When patience seizes the country and its people
There is then no settlement or patience

6. Were not the people of the earth dead then came
A messenger of life whose creed is resurrection and dispersal?

7. They refused to remain on it to the end of time
Walking in shrouds which are to them a grave

8. The life of this world is in his sword and book
Both have for it in his view a secret

9. You have security, O Taima, no oozing blood
No darkened prosperity, no dusty atmosphere

10. Nor are you bereaved however much anguish that grieves you
Blazing or less than blazing embers

11. A purposeful opinion has helped you
To move your family from what an ignorant fool endures

12. Had they chosen Islam as religion they would have prospered
But polytheism it is, blemished and blasphemy

13. They refused and turned away buying their souls
With their money - this is the loss and waste

14. Paying it out of fear of being killed as a poll tax
In humiliation from what provides dates and dried dates

15. They stay wanting life in their land
Yet how can the life of people be when matters go wrong?

16. Take it easy, champions, they have chosen error deliberately
That, though they know it not, is an odious track

17. They go astray though the illuminated dawn has risen
No excuse for the strayers when dawn has broken

18. For all peoples there is a term, then their
Darkness is lifted, so let them be patient, for such is fate
