1. Call the graves and give glad tidings to all buried
The time of resurrection has come and the trumpet is blown

2. Tell the East, time has completed its circuit
And for revenge in it, every wounded arose

3. Wipe your wounds and stand undaunted
So no oppressor will frighten you with harm

4. If you rise today, every lurking one will panic
And every one with fangs and claws will shudder

5. It's life, so plunge into the battlefield and daringly storm
The terrors of every frightened and defeated warrior

6. Its regions have been disturbed by what nations did
Shedding blood, transgressing and slaughtering

7. Except that they have rebelled
So jinn are watching from a desolate and enchanted land

8. Power is the rule, not justice in rulers
Nor injustice in the forbidden

9. The law of the sword, tyrants execute
Of every mocker of God, arrogant

10. Don't you see blood flowing in their claws
Erasing all that was written of laws

11. The war cry was raised, so they said it was shaken by joy
And the era was churned, of knowledge and light

12. Woe to the minds, we were cast from their ignorance
Into a state of superstition and falsehood's remains

13. The bier comes with every cheerful one
And the grave is filled with all the happy

14. It's civilization, clarifying all confusion
Of matters, revealing all hidden

15. Truth from the ranting of proclaimers
And justice in what you see of hopes crushed

16. And excuse for the habitual killer, for if
The soul of the terrified despaired, he's not blamed

17. Banishment, murder and torture are well-known mercy
And unrewarded work

18. No nation with history or homeland
All are nonsense and unmentioned

19. And ignorance is most beneficial for nations to rise by
And humiliation is the highest hopes of the masses

20. Man owns not wealth or child
Except at risk or hostage of destruction

21. Only He who ordains can delay him
The ordainer of taking and delaying

22. That's life, so say to those commanding it
The words of the Messenger "Gently with the pottery"

23. They said "Protection over your necks has been placed"
So its sheath will not one day be drawn

24. Today rejoice in your independence and take
The nation's right, completely unmaimed

25. The utmost generosity between people is to let
The prey of eagles be food for sparrows

26. A novel and ornate imaginings
Fabricated in the parliament and constitution

27. What is it to us, the Nile's life is in your hands?
And the matter altogether is nullifying and confirming

28. Leave joking, we are a nation that has been truthful
Do not seek authority, it has become unattainable

29. The East rose after its slumber
Rolling up the horizon and twisting in storms

30. Hurling eagles, so they swooped from their fortresses
In the clouds, from a high mountain and wall

31. Covering the darkened horizon, rupturing
The darkness' gloom, revealing the bright dawn

32. Its conqueror unleashed them and sent them
Filling the world with death and fate

33. Raiding every valley and hill
And war crying in their traces, "March!"

34. March unswervingly, seeking no rest
With a sword behind you, serious and resolute

35. Truth unaided in its majesty
Except when aided by drawing of blades

36. It's the cure to remove tyranny's disease
From souls and heal all discontent

37. Politics surely destroys nations
So do not be fooled by its prolonged deceiving

38. If the defeated seek remedy through it, they fall
To the cunning of evildoers and misleading of potions

39. It shrouds kingdoms in golden shrouds
The beautiful imaginations of painters

40. You see the coffins paraded in its claws
Amidst diverse musical bands

41. The East's processions did not stand
Except on the corpses of brave raiders

42. Those ruling by the sword's right never oppressed
Nor were rebuked by an adversary for negligence

43. The sword only brings together the struck
On a day separating hosts and mobilizing riders

44. From every audacious raider trampling them
The heels of every swift runner defeated

45. War is too proud to beg from him, though swords' points
Yearn for necks to pierce and bodies to twist

46. When ranks unite under his banners
The mighty warrior victorious is revealed

47. Fearing no commotion when the warner cries out
Nor resorting to the sword with excuses on a day

48. Seeing the caliphate a duty and the crescent blood
And Uthman's glory a true abundant faith

49. Not counting the people's lives hardship
In the reaping of shackles or tightening of reins

50. He who created man, freed him
So he will not again be bound in chains after freedom

51. Religion and reason grant him no statute
Other than them both, all forbidden and commanded

52. The soul bears no faith if it harbors
Love of idols or fear of monsters

53. Judgment is God's, fate runs its course
Death comes and all memorized remains

54. How proper for people to revere themselves
And most beautiful is silence for the rambling people

55. Has God fought other than every fool
Or contended with truth except every hireling?

56. Truth is not overcome though legions attack it
Of silver coins or armies of gold dinars

57. The exemplars shook the world with a pickaxe
And abused people, sober and drunk

58. Cast clear signs over the East
The scriptures' advisement and reminder

59. They did not unleash war until its storm swept
The cunning of villains and plotting of evildoers

60. War to Uthman's sons is a miracle
Exhausting minds and nullifying every scheme

61. Were it not for the famous deeds they pioneered in time
Their mention would be forgotten and unknown

62. The Turks' charge contains a world not confined
By their swords and unconquered ages

63. One comes and pulls out from its shrouds nations
That the roominess of deep pits and abodes confined

64. The East complains of an unsuitable world
Detested and an unpleasant time

65. Its conqueror shaded it and it neared
An auspicious era of good tidings

66. No wishes disappointed you of a patron
For whom people weep, free and confined
