1. Peace upon you from all nations
Christianity and Islam came rushing to you

2. Jesus speaks to you alongside Muhammad's sword
Tears are a flood and sorrows a heap

3. The earth is lost and kingdoms shaken
People are at war and time in conflict

4. A world churning with evil, a universe
overflowing with sins on its sides

5. Neither solutions are solving among its people’s laws
Nor prohibitions prohibiting with judgment

6. Great philosophers disturbed its security
And the eminent chiefs did mischief

7. Come as you did, awakening and alerting
Minds and insights are asleep

8. Spread your book, guiding and educating
People have gone astray, and you are the imam

9. This is a detailed book of life
Its signs and laws are clear

10. Ages have passed, yet it remains
As if its seal was never opened

11. Kingdoms took shade under you, and eras
Were illuminated by your sun, as well as nations

12. You rose while the world was covered in darkness
And the universe was all evil and gloom

13. You appeared while the clear truth was displaced
Seeking refuge but finding none

14. Killing runs after it while paths are confused
And calamities monstrous

15. The days of ignorance in their pride
Have endless conceit and pillars

16. A hero armed for jihad to perform it
Yet he hesitated and did not surrender

17. What do you expect of the young wolf? He migrated
When his den was too narrow, so the young wolf migrated

18. He walks with his companion; none other
Except the One God, the All-Knowing

19. The world did not distract him, nor did
Its fleeting vanities play with him

20. Religion protected his soul’s weakness
A barrier, preventing him from forbidden

21. With faith alone, one person can attain
What an attacking army cannot

22. The soul fills time, or it's a speck
Stirred and tossed under feet

23. Its place indistinct, unseen
Not what is focused on, to be named

24. You freed souls from the shackles of ignorance
Whose dignity was insulted and oppressed

25. Many are the tribulations upon souls
The harshest being fantasies and passions

26. O savior of the weak from their pain
Small nations, all are pain

27. Wounded over wounded moaning, is there a hand
That would dress wounds, perhaps to mend?

28. Bring the message in Muhammad’s right hand
We forgot religion, how to stand

29. When life disguises its flags
Religion is its constitution and system

30. We are ignorant of it, and you know it
Ignorance is a chronic disease of nations

31. If you asked the learned, what is its name?
An illness dissolving their lives like mange

32. Our sights went astray, so our matter was
In the hands of fools, the protectors slept

33. We walk in disgrace, as if we are among the dead
Until it seems we are all dead among the nations

34. When passions overwhelm a people
Minds get lost and dreams scatter

35. Not even the days of ignorance when they passed
Did their landmarks get erased, nor idols

36. Come to the world with a good covenant
So hopes can live, though it crumbles

37. To the Muslims, and you are of their hopes
Thirsty for you, cheerful and keen

38. They are tongues and limbs on pulpits
And eyes or resolves on minarets

39. They looked to you so their nations rushed
Each nation screaming and pushing

40. Or did you touch their chests and know them
Among the thorns and chests are wounds

41. Time changed and days rotated
So the coward left and the valiant hesitated

42. Conquerors’ swords are asleep, so rouse them
The zealous tongues and swords’ determination

43. Passion for news of heavens rousing him
Seeking at stars purpose and ambition

44. Gathering hardship for the tough, leading them
For every tough his own reins to steer

45. And for each nation, if provoked or marching
Seeking prey, death and war

46. O new year, you inherited it
A world we inherited, and we are generous

47. Then it shunned us, its bliss passed
As if we were orphans after it

48. How many newborns died before you inherited
Just so do years die and get conceived

49. Give good tidings to Muslim nations
Of fortune, for you have no evil

50. Darkness lifted from the East, not lasting
Can misfortune last in it?

51. Cite for us the example of jihad, and narrate
As we delve events, for life is clash

52. Did the honest guided leader surrender leadership
Or betray and break covenants?

53. He builds and destroys, a singular warrior
Never a builder nor destroyer like him

54. He held life high on a sound credo
The sword a pillar, the book a column

55. Uhud and Badr bear witness, so no blame
Upon one who sheds blood for rights

56. Did a Scripture roam those sights
Or a Scripture and swords roam them?

57. We see in your forehead a verse
Of what revelation and inspiration relate

58. That good tiding, if absent, its proof is
This bright, smiling crescent

59. If time lets down the zealous, maybe
The ancestors will fulfill and the destinies appeased

60. We have armed ourselves for life
Fervent determination shaking bones

61. Our archers do not obey calls to kill
We have arrows like theirs and bows

62. We strive, working steadfastly for our people
Seeking completeness, and things complete
