4. Its truths illuminate hopes
Doubts and suspicions disperse

5. People's hearts are never blinded
When eyes are blinded from the matter

6. You are the crescent of the year for Egypt's worldly domain
You aggrandize it, and you are its religious pillar

7. You renew the memory of God's Messenger
It reverberates through every inclining dune

8. He came while people were drowned in darkness
The light poured and the ships were set straight

9. The state of morals rose up towering
The glorious throne and crown stood up

10. Civilization shone radiantly
Illuminating all generations and epochs

11. Taking refuge in a stronghold of lofty justice
Fortresses and citadels take refuge in it

12. We love Muhammad and safeguard in him
What Jesus loves and keeps safe

13. And we honor his people, and are of them
As the compassionate relative would be

14. Egypt's hopes unite us
Events and affairs bring us together

15. Manage our affairs, O Lord, for we
In You alone, O God, seek aid

16. And whatever glory and honor we gain
You are its guarantor and keeper

17. The redeemed people will rule their own affairs
And the honest country will elevate its reputation
