2. The son of Mas'ud has brought you news of Yathrib
Yet worries and sorrows do not cease among you

Are calamities that target lives and terrors

The wind of hatred blows are ferocious lions

5. Soldiers victorious through Ali,
Fierce in the heat of battle, brave amid horrors

6. Leave a man to spread lies fearfully
And promise him the reward of slander is not wealth

7. He hesitated, fearing you would blame a deserter
Saying there is neither a true promise nor good faith

8. Hold on to the secure pledge of Ibn Amr

12. Nor is death unwanted if honor demands it
Nor life desired if humiliation is feared

13. They called out: God is enough for us, He
Does what He wills to grant victory to the guided

16. They have an inevitable appointment and destination
Of death engulfing souls and lifetimes

17. It pains us that it becomes an oft-repeated saying
Repeated by foolish ignorant people

While we are the fierce, attacking onesโ€

19. And Abu Sufyan lay, denying himself
And making himself bear witness to his fear and plotting

20. Saying โ€œThe men have come upon trouble
Oh people, wait! We are lostโ€

ุฃูŠุง ู‚ูˆู…ู†ุง ู…ู‡ู„ุงู‹ ูุฅู†ู‘ุง ู„ูŽุถูู„ู‘ุงู„

21. Oh people, we see the year is unfruitful
And the worst equipment for war is emaciation and hardship

22. So return to a prosperous, fertile year
And do not approach these chaotic people

23. The army of God advanced and their army retreated
And none remain who can be feared and equaled

26. Behold, it is rebuilt, the world given

27. No longer the way its ancient people wished
They are gone and it is not as it was

28. The past is buried in its evil
A ruin and relic of crumbled walls

29. Can peopleโ€™s hearts remain in its darkness?
With veils and locks preserving its idols

30. It is the light, the light of God, filling His land
So generations find guidance within it
