1. O you who warn of ill, hush your voice, for we
Have a Lord who protects us from harm and shelters us.

2. We have taken refuge in Him, seeking help from Him
Against misfortunes, when they beset and debilitate us.

3. We hope for His mercy in every disaster
That makes our strength collapse and enfeebles us.

4. O you who warn of ill, do not cause us alarm,
O you who warn of ill, God suffices us,

5. How can we fear fateful events
When the holy book is recited before us?

6. It is the path by which salvation is hoped for,
So let the people be calm, God will deliver us.
