2. For those who take the souls of slaves,
And they fulfill their terms.

3. If they hasten with the eggs of the youngster,
Then the people will not be able to delay it.

4. Soldiers who sacrifice their souls,
And spend in God their monies.

ูˆุชูŽุจุฐู„ู ููŠ ุงู„ู„ู‡ู ุฃู…ูˆุงู„ูŽู‡ุง

5. If it exceeded the goal of the workers,
God has certainly blessed their deeds.

ูฅ. ู„ุฆู† ุฌุงูˆุฒูŽุชู’ ุบุงูŠุฉูŽ ุงู„ุนุงู…ู„ูŠู†
ู„ู‚ุฏ ุจูŽุงุฑูŽูƒูŽ ุงู„ู„ู‡ู ุฃุนู…ุงู„ู‡ุง

6. And who is like Uthman who pastures the souls,
If the matter is restored or it declines.

7. Abundant grace, vast range,
If he seeks a position, he attains it.

ุฅุฐุง ุฑูŽุงู…ูŽ ู…ูŽู†ุฒู„ุฉู‹ ู†ุงู„ูŽู‡ุง

8. O Abu Bakr, you chose the most lasting wealth,
And spared yourself its ordeals.

ูจ. ุฃุจุง ุจูƒุฑู ุงุฎู’ุชุฑุชูŽ ุฃุจู‚ู‰ ุงู„ุซุฑุงุก
ูˆุฌูŽู†ู‘ูŽุจุชูŽ ู†ูŽูู’ุณูŽูƒูŽ ุจูŽู„ุจุงู„ูŽู‡ุง

9. You wished it a generous grace,
So God clothed you in its robe.

ูฉ. ุชูŽู…ู†ู‘ูŽูŠุชูŽู‡ุง ู†ูุนู…ุฉู‹ ุณู…ุญุฉู‹
ูุฃู„ุจูŽุณูŽูƒูŽ ุงู„ู„ู‘ูŽู‡ู ุณูุฑู’ุจูŽุงู„ูŽู‡ุง

10. And your companions among the spenders,
Have merits whose majesty we revere.

ู…ูŽู†ุงู‚ูุจูŽ ู†ูุฏู…ูู†ู ุฅุฌู„ุงู„ูŽู‡ูŽุง

11. The women insisted on their jewels,
And came out making a great commotion.

ูกูก. ุฃู„ุญู‘ูŽ ุงู„ู†ู‘ูุณุงุกู ุนู„ู‰ ุญูŽู„ู’ูŠู‡ูู†ู‘
ูˆุฃู‚ุจู„ู†ูŽ ููŠ ุถูŽุฌู‘ุฉู ูŠุง ู„ู‡ุง

12. O prophet of guidance, we forfeit rights,
And prefer to neglect them.

13. And the ornamented ladies among us,
Drag their trains in the alley.

ุชูุฌุฑุฌูุฑู ููŠ ุงู„ุญูŠู‘ู ุฃุฐูŠุงู„ูŽู‡ุง

14. The handsome young man passed by the girl,
So she was sleepless for what her family caused.

ูกูค. ู„ู‚ุฏ ุทุงููŽ ุทุงุฆูููู‡ุง ุจุงู„ูุชุงุฉู
ูุฃุฑู‘ูŽู‚ู‡ุง ู…ุง ุนูŽู†ูŽุง ุขู„ู‡ุง

15. Neither miserliness withheld her wrists,
Nor did greed restrain her anklets.

16. The huge army marched in battalion,
Loving wars and their horrors.

ูกูฆ. ู…ุดูŽู‰ ุงู„ุฌุญูู„ู ุงู„ุถู‘ูŽุฎู…ู ููŠ ุฌุญูู„ู
ูŠูุญูุจ ุงู„ุญูุฑูˆุจูŽ ูˆุฃู‡ูˆุงู„ูŽู‡ุง

17. And the hypocrites feared the heat,
So they said, โ€œthe homes and their shades.โ€

18. And their elder sheikh destroyed them,
With evil for which whoever says it sins.

ุจูุดูŽู†ุนุงุกู ูŠูŽุฃุซูŽู…ู ู…ูŽู† ู‚ูŽุงู„ู‡ุง

19. O clans of Asfar, hasten to the fight,
And set your souls and hopes free.

ูกูฉ. ุจูŽู†ูŠ ุงู„ุฃุตูุฑ ุงุณุชุจูู‚ูˆุง ู„ู„ูˆุบู‰
ูˆุฎูŽู„ู‘ููˆุง ุงู„ู†ู‘ูููˆุณูŽ ูˆุขู…ุงู„ู‡ุง

20. You stopped because of the terror you advance,
And war did not stir its gluttons.

ูˆู…ุง ู‡ูŽุงุฌุชู ุงู„ุญุฑุจู ุฃุบูˆุงู„ูŽู‡ุง

21. Then how would you be among its fangs,
When God gathers its eaters?

ูขูก. ููƒูŠู ุจูƒู… ุจูŽูŠู’ู† ุฃู†ู’ูŠูŽุงุจูู‡ุง
ุฅุฐุง ุฌูŽู…ูŽุน ุงู„ู„ู‘ูŽู‡ู ุขูƒุงู„ูŽู‡ุง

22. Umar saw his view in departure,
So the Romans will not increase their terms.

24. O Tabuk, witness the descents of the wolves,
And the dens of lions and their cubs.

ูขูค. ุชูŽุจูˆูƒู ุงุดู’ู‡ูŽุฏููŠ ู†ูŽุฒูŽูˆุงุชู ุงู„ุฐู‘ุฆุงุจ
ูˆุญูŽูŠู‘ู ุงู„ุฃุณูˆุฏูŽ ูˆุฃุดุจุงู„ู‡ุง

25. Should you not recognize,
The elders of war and their boys?

ูขูฅ. ุฃู…ุง ูŠูŽู†ุจุบููŠ ู„ูƒู ุฃู† ุชูŽุนุฑูููŠ
ุดููŠูˆุฎูŽ ุงู„ุญูุฑูˆุจู ูˆุฃุทูุงู„ู‡ุง

26. It is the true nation, it will not be submissive,
And the sword will not cease its fighting.

ูขูฆ. ู‡ูŠ ุงู„ู…ูู„ู‘ูŽุฉู ุงู„ุญู‚ู‘ู ู„ู† ุชูŽุณุชูƒูŠู†
ูˆู„ู† ูŠุฏูŽุนูŽ ุงู„ุณู‘ูŽูŠูู ุฃู‚ุชูŽุงู„ูŽู‡ุง

27. It saw the nation of disbelief attacking souls,
So it came tearing its limbs apart.

ูขูง. ุฑุฃุชู’ ู…ู„ู‘ุฉูŽ ุงู„ูƒููุฑู ุชุบุฒูˆ ุงู„ู†ู‘ูููˆุณ
ูุฌุงุกูŽุชู’ ุชูู…ุฒู‘ูู‚ู ุฃูˆุตุงู„ูŽู‡ุง

28. It has fierce defenders from its people,
Who exterminate those who sought to humiliate it.

ูขูจ. ู„ู‡ุง ู…ู† ุฐูˆูŠู‡ุง ุญูู…ุงุฉูŒ ุดูุฏุงุฏ
ูŠูุจูŠุฏูˆู†ูŽ ู…ูŽู† ุฑุงู…ูŽ ุฅุฐู„ุงู„ูŽู‡ุง

29. People will not know their like,
And time will not witness their equal.

ูขูฉ. ูู„ู† ูŠูŽุนุฑูููŽ ุงู„ู†ู‘ุงุณู ุฃู…ุซุงู„ูŽู‡ู…
ูˆู„ู† ูŠูŽุดู‡ุฏ ุงู„ุฏู‘ู‡ุฑู ุฃู…ุซุงู„ูŽู‡ุง

30. And the path of guidance will not be distinct,
If people follow its misguidance.

ูฃู . ูˆู„ู† ุชูŽุณุชุจูŠู†ูŽ ุณูŽุจูŠู„ู ุงู„ู‡ูุฏูŽู‰
ุฅุฐุง ุงุชู‘ูŽุจุนูŽ ุงู„ู†ู‘ูŽุงุณู ุถูู„ู‘ูŽุงู„ู‡ุง

31. So whoever is saddened if the powers of polytheism are destroyed,
Let him weep over its ruins.

ูฃูก. ููŽู…ูŽู†ู’ ูƒุงู†ูŽ ูŠูุญุฒูู†ูู‡ ุฃู† ุชูŽุจููŠุฏ
ู‚ููˆูŽู‰ ุงู„ุดู‘ุฑูƒู ููŽู„ู’ูŠูŽุจู’ูƒู ุฃุทู„ุงู„ูŽู‡ุง

32. For the people of the detailed Book, from His verses,
Are springs from which they drink its chains.

ู…ูŽูˆูŽุงุฑูุฏู ูŠูุณู‚ูŽูˆู’ู†ูŽ ุณูู„ู’ุณูŽุงู„ูŽู‡ุง

33. It returns the hearts to their Lord,
And opens for the light its locks.

ูฃูฃ. ุชุฑุฏู‘ู ุงู„ู‚ูู„ูˆุจูŽ ุฅู„ู‰ ุฑุจู‘ูู‡ุง
ูˆุชูŽูุชุญู ู„ู„ู†ู‘ููˆุฑู ุฃู‚ูุงู„ูŽู‡ุง
