1. Neither today nor tomorrow when you were born
If only you were reborn every day

2. Darkness has returned as you knew it
This world of ignorance and harm renews itself

3. Neither has Abu Jahl tasted its destruction
Nor has Abu Lahab caused ruin, and your Lord bears witness

4. In every land there is a tyrannical one
Who refuses guidance, and an oppressor who rebels

5. The worship of idols, its advocates have arisen
They have filled the kingdoms, in their hands no good is done

6. For every people from the foolishness of their minds
A lord is magnified, or a god is worshipped

7. Arise O Muhammad, you have no helper for your truth
Until you stand, and your religion has no defender

8. Arise with your armies, waging war, and open through them
The world of disbelief, for a nation that does not deny

9. Walking in the light of the Book, so it is guided
And upholds the morals of life, so it is blessed

10. Renew for us the days of Badr, they
Are our days which we love and praise

11. It protected Islam, the sapling of its planting
While ignorance is harvested with shovels

12. A planting that grew, and from its blessings the land
Gives generous life, and provisions

13. Arise, O Messenger of God, and see if you see
Only nations that have lost the right path

14. Your swords have slept after their long slumber
So the misguided woke and the corrupt arose

15. Corruption has spread, no righteousness is hoped
For the two worlds, and no prosperity sought

16. The matter is chaos, and life is miserable
And evil does not vanish, nor does it cease

17. The world of desires casts people into harm
And torment with a storm that does not calm

18. Look to the days of 'Aad when they tyrannized
And Thamud which time brings back in misery

19. Pity Islam, its den has become lowly
And the vicious killer pounces on it

20. What the swords of Muhammad had gathered
Has in the hands of Muslims become scattered

21. How painful is the memory, and woe the agony
Burning in the heart of every monotheist

22. O birth of light that split the darkness
And the lost hesitant saw the path

23. The paths are obscure of landmarks and guidance
Things said but wants not found

24. Hope has grown long, is there a promise for us?
And alas when will the promise come?

25. Time has passed, who do we have left
With which matters are resolved and tied?

26. People are crooked of path, misguided
And guided in the two worlds, steadfast

27. My Lord, take for the Muslims their path
For to You is their return, and You are the goal

28. They fled to You, so do not deprive them
Of Your door of mercy which is not shut

29. Whoever asks in adversities "Who do we have?"
God the Glorious and Muhammad

30. The youth have risen and hopes have stirred
And glory altogether, rise and scope

31. The power of the generation has risen for which
And generations around it have aspired

32. The ages have from it and from the wonders of its making
An example it shows in its trials, so it is overwhelmed

33. It has deflected misfortunes, so they avoided its path
And went on to its goals, surging

34. With it, resolves that reached the horizon
And hung on to fate though it hurried

35. It shook the foundations, unmatched in might
No storm or earthquake like it

36. Tasked with the means of heaven, wanting them
If only the means of heaven could be attained

37. It builds for its nation a new life
For science in it sublime and grand

38. The tools refuse that its foundations would settle
Until it destroys what the ignorant built

39. The honor of nations is their knowledge and lives
That morals and deeds are reformed

40. And if the youth takes on matters with resolve
Difficulties relent and burdens lighten

41. What are matters if their causes unite
Except constant struggle and fight?

42. Take what you want with strength and dedication
Do not be taken by weakness or boredom

43. And despair - turn away from it and beware its disease
For despair is an incurable disease of the soul

44. And strike with what the weak claimed in their faces
For claims are delusions for minds

45. And if they mention the impossible, tell them
Nothing for men in matters is impossible

46. The elders gave up on the fight yet this
Is the world of youth, so blessed are the heroes

47. Rust has overcome their fathers' swords
And the blades have dulled, so sharpening is useless

48. The banner fell, bloodstained, and around
The banner, fangs and blades shattered

49. The youth took up their banner and crowded
Where horrors amass and clash

50. In every battlefield their souls are cheap
And wealth is cheap in it

51. Neither can the transgressor wreak havoc in their homelands
If he covets its eggs, nor can the assassin

52. They protect its honor with blood, and it is their zeal
If safeguarded, though the outcome is feared

53. The disgrace altogether, and humiliation entirely
Is honor in the hands of the despicable, disgraced

54. The youth shook off despair from their hopes
While the hopeless are dependents on nations

55. And flowed refusing to fault its time
Or lose it in saying and talking

56. None fulfilled their needs or attained them
Among people except the doer and speaker

57. The matter is serious, no doubt to it
And the awakening is truth, no arguing it

58. Say to those who supposed assumptions and quaked
Nothing prevents conditions from changing

59. To God belongs a command over kingdoms, carried out
By which fates and terms run their course

60. Do not incline to whispers, and beware
For whispers to the soul are misguidance
