1. Come with guidance, for the matter is serious
What path to truth has not yet begun?

2. Come with guidance, not like Thaqif
Or others whom Allah has judged as wicked

3. O Son of Ghaylan, welcome you came
With the guided camels walking steadily

4. Where are your tribe, the misguided, who rode
Astray, whom guidance could not deter?

5. They killed Urwah the martyr though
He chose Allah; to idolatry a foe

6. He came after the Prophet witnessing
None deserves worship but the Exalted King

7. He went to his tribe thinking well of them
But they turned away from truth and barred the way

8. Thus the Prophet told, but when
Affairs are preordained, none can gainsay

9. Let them be, he said, for the King of kings
Know they'll fight you, for evil the people bring

10. Misled by his own views, no love had he
Save love of harm and enmity

11. Blessed the delegation that came to the shining
Star in his light, solace and joy bringing

12. Receiving guidance, the path is clarified
Shining after darkness, now magnified

13. Bringing pure religion that equals none
For those seeking safety and tender care

14. His command fulfilled, he returned; in him
Resolve unshaken and wisdom supreme
