1. O Hind, you have gained enough, so stop
The one who guides souls has guided you

2. You came unveiling your veil joyfully
You hide yourself while the Prophet sees you

3. “Are you not Hind?” you said shyly “Yes”
Do not be shy, God has pardoned you

4. You healed your heart with Islam so it recovered
And washed away from that crime, so be healed

5. Do not mention the hatred you practiced
Perhaps it will forget you if you forget it

6. Leave the necklaces from the day of Badr
And wear the garments of the clear victory

7. Guidance has taken you in the path of Muhammad
So take the morals of the great Sheikh as your guide

8. It was not like you when you insulted him
And went too far in your evil ways

9. You said “Kill him” and if all of them obeyed you
The spilled blood would have flowed from your hands

10. O Hind, truth has greater power
Than your father or anything you fear

11. None is like him, even if you seek in the world a father
O daughter of Utba, from a father who pastures you

12. Who puts the world first is not virtuous
Unlike what your hands presented to the Messenger

13. Why do you apologize? The gift is noble
And your love now is in fearing God

14. You pledged to the best of guides a way
And you accepted his refined morals that please you

15. He forgets the harm though it was deep
And seeks refuge in generous untainted morals

16. No matter the accusations of the hypocrites
Let them be ignorant, he is neither blaming nor doubtful

17. You admired when he mentioned lewdness forbidding
Those who came to him from it and you too

18. My wonder is for chastity offered easily
Though it is all of life, thus you have it

19. The honor of free women you have learned
Only accepting you equal to adultery

20. They guard it and protect it from forbidden
Passions of every sly betrayer

21. She who refuses it kills her desires
Though her bed be strewn with the stars

22. The shame of fornication disgraces faces
And its evil casts lands and people to ruin

23. O Hind, God has decreed His rule
So suffice you from the evil of His torment that He protected you from

24. You were given your provision of piety and guidance
So thank the One who delivered you
