1. Neither staying in places nor remaining in them makes souls last.
We are both dead, wherever we wish, death besieges us.

2. That is a death which overwhelms daylight at times
And does not fast from counting your breaths.

3. So if it wears them out or makes them scarce
It becomes in you and your blood raging.

4. Silent like soft shadows, forbearing, clement,
Informing of the times, keeping them from you.

5. So when its command comes it flees from you
Taking the most precious things your Generous Lord has granted you.

6. So if it takes them while you walk
That is because the consequences are eternal bliss.

7. O Al-Ghazi whom they besieged
Before the flesh could cover the bones.

8. They hurried you as a child and did not wait
Until the “H” and “M” could meet in you.

9. They fought against the Chosen One and the Messiah in you
None of your family remained, not even the Kalim.

10. And those who surrendered, swearing
That the word “His factions” is fabricated.

11. Woe to them! How often they prayed to the prophets
While their faces rubbed in the dust remained bowed.

12. Yet when you sought their help, contemptibly
They prostrated again and again without getting up.

13. They are despised when they greet you
And pray, their Shaykh and elder.

14. They divided the Lord of mankind’s inheritance among themselves and so
all became masters while you remained deprived.

15. So choose one or two lords and worship them
Otherwise, you will be the unjust.

16. So if you only worship God alone
Yet you are a polytheist, blamed.

17. Do you buy lords for a Lord in exchange
For a paradise in the sky while you are the Kalim?!

18. Their killing you magnified the Jinn until
Iblis thought he was protected from sin.

19. If you saw Iblis' pity for them
You would ask a thousand times: Is this the wrongdoer?

20.
O Chosen One, rise above, killed

21. Or killer, for you are blamed.
Like flies, those rights bustle about

22. If a sick cat complained about flies.
You avoid the purity of the prophets! And the purity

23. Of the prophets is an opponent to all filth.
Their nature created morals

24. The morals of a people whose kind the Pelted flees.
Rights, which did not regain a loaf?

25. Or corruption with which Sodom was restored?
Life did not go straight with them for a day

26. Would life go straight with them embittering yours?
God has sufficed you poisons that kill

27. Every praiseworthy thing and the Blamer remains.
O Dead One who ruled an age

28. You will surely return and the Wretched will perish.
Years did not rush your death

29. Rather, worries rushed your demise.
A thousand opponents and a thousand worries separated

30. Worry and death, not the gloomy life.
They chased you, an old man, with the sword of death

31. When the determined young lion appeared in your steps.
They chased you dead with the excuse that

32. A spirit against death still floated in you.
Return the treasure wherever it is

33. So the enemy’s villages cannot boast about it.
Whether you willed it or not, a mother’s right

34. Is their interpretation: “May God have mercy on him.”
This is the land of Sham, my master, or

35. The treasure and every hidden treasure is denied.
And leave from yourself a light that tours the lands

36. As the stars toured the sky.
Or a fragrance that undoes the fetters of a spring

37. That disappeared from a land whose heat raged.
Be far from their favors, it does not reach,

38. And near, healing the deprived with it.
Be a Messiah whom God restores one day

39. To melt the injustice from him like salt.
Be like the news of the unseen that is revealed and so

40. Becomes events settling between the eyelids.
So it will be regret in the chests

41. If their counted days become long.
And a lesson for the hearts of the patient

42. One day when a noble son brings victory.
And praise God that years have passed

43. That shared your life, in it were worries.
