Abu Al Hussein, tears streamed from my eyes

2. Whether I live, I live in sorrow and grief for him
Or if I die, I die from sorrows and fears

3. His misfortune has spread across the world and its inhabitants
Among the two kinds, mankind and jinn

4. This is the crumbled mountain of Mudar
Alas Mudar became completely without a mountain

5. And the sea of Ma'ad disappeared from its sons, and from
Qahtan, and people on the rugged and smooth land

6. He revived virtues until he died, so they remain in him
Green like an irrigated garden in the wasteland

7. He met death without meeting its calamities
The whiteness of old age and the wisdom of an elder

8. Abu Al Hussein Ali, when I drew near
To your door, eggs and night fell

9. You killed my sorrows that I have folded
That was a commendable and excellent deed

10. You are the martyr, happily killed for
The best beliefs, settled and unsettled

11. You intended to make Hajj to Allah's House and visit
The grave of the guide of messengers

12. May Allah send blessings upon him as long as ridges
Twist to connect with Layla, ignorantly, foolishly

13. You fought for Allah against those hostile to Him
So you were made happy with seriousness from Him, relying on Him

14. You struck with the sword, and if you had succeeded you would not be surprised
Until the sword became bent from striking heads

15. When the lifetime of a young man expires, he cannot evade his fate
Lifetime does not protect against what is destined

16. And your day was the rest of a lifetime in number
Lifetime is not diminished by counting down to death

17. Abu Al Hussein, you have burdened me with immense
Sorrow that makes the drinking of sweet and eating bitter

18. You traveled from us to the house of bliss, and you
Left me with sadness until death comes bundled up

19. I console myself that honor and glory are in you, but
I cannot console myself, the burden is too heavy to carry

20. No great accident follows you, but rather
The great accident befalls you

21. So you are the essence of piety and glory, its source
Rather, the most generous of the remaining and the former

22. If you died, your good deeds give you life to me
Broadcasting the publication posted on camel saddles

23. I entrust you to Allah since you entrusted me with
Sorrow over you, O Ali, that equals my patience

24. You died well, so Hussain and the young man Hassan
And eulogy for Masoud are enough for me since they remained my sons

25. May Allah not scatter a group that He has united
In the shade of a life with coolness that provides shelter

26. The nights have wounded them, and would have
Remained an unhealed wound, if not for them

27. They carried out the law of rights that I was committed
To fulfilling, and the inheritance of the trusted executor

28. And they followed the law of kinship, and they intended
With friends, directions from the paths

29. May Allah protect them from the afflictions of their time
And protect you all from perdition in full

30. This is my consolation and elegy for your father
From me to you, while my heart prays with sorrows

31. I still shed tears of sorrow in streams
While you all deviated from my oasis and streams

32. After him, my heart is roasted over
A flame of sorrow, and my tears corroded my eyes

33. It is as if I am a stranger whose mind was captured
Until even his eyes were covered in trails

34. In the evening he feels sad like his father
To the point he is killed by the wave and little puddles

35. We ask Allah we meet Him in rooms
Of Paradise, with shade and shadows

36. Praise be to Allah who kept Sa'eed for us
After the stabbing of spears, lines, and poetry

37. That is part of our share that remains
If it were not less than hoped for in expectations

38. I advise you piety to Allah and His protection of you
Through the one who remained after him, worthy and immoral

39. Pray sincerely to the truthful friend and do not
Ruin your manners due to boredom

40. The friend makes life sweetest and eases it
When you share sorrows and troubles with him

41. It is the virtues whose ladder is through it, and he
Only climbed by seriousness and fighting

42. Everyone says "me, I" but it exposes him
Except confronting the days and fate

43. Abu Hussein, may Allah give you in your grave
Heavy rain and enough rain

44. And may He protect you with His blessings
Until even the terror of Judgement Day does not frighten you

45. O Lord, bless the Chosen One our Master
And his family, and the obedient servant Ali
