1. To you I present some issues from the radiance
By which a person is compelled regarding judgment to kill

2. So one who intentionally kills a free believing man
And one who misguides people about the Prophet's purity

3. And rejects the obligation of prayer and rejects obligatory alms
And rejects the obligation of fasting while fasting is most virtuous

4. And one who believes it permissible to eat carrion
Without necessity when it can be eaten

5. And a polytheist who fornicates with a Muslim woman
And one who intentionally commits incest must be killed

6. And whoever copulates with an animal
And climbs to a towering summit must be thrown and cut by the sword

7. And whoever says at temples preparing
Oh so and so, O tribes come

8. And a sorcerer, if he prays he prays by his sorcery
He is killed in retribution, thus said the balanced jurist

9. And here are those whom the judgment does not mandate killing
Until repentance comes, then killed by the sword

10. One who abandons Islam after reaching puberty
And an apostate converting to polytheism

11. And one who says the Chosen is a sorcerer
Or a foreigner or poet, thus spoken

12. And one who denies the Quran after its descent
Or some verses in it, not reciting

13. And of the issues scholars disputed
Some say kill, others say flog

14. So one who abandons obligatory fasting or prayers
And the time has passed intentionally delaying

15. And one who insults the Farooq and the venerable Shaykh
Kill or flog harshly
