1. Then we started throwing the first pebble
Before descending and before making the sacrifice

2. And we had already ended our Ihram
In Mina, sacrificing before slaughtering the victim

3. And on our day we all visited Mecca
Circling it, and in it we found wisdom

4. Then we went back from Mina where we stayed
Three days of stoning every evening

5. After noon we find there the Talbiyah
And we descended on Mecca on the fourth day

6. After Mina, achieving wishes
Then we intended to visit Muhammad

7. In Taybah, for which we have congratulations
Coming to him in throngs and crowds

8. Sad about ruins, channels and valleys
Sometimes barefoot on hot ground, sometimes

9. With shins galled as if by fetters
The sun scorched their flesh and marrow

10. Until they became like twisted branches
Sometimes it screened them, the hills, and sometimes

11. Above the donkeys, they were like sticks
While we were like the crouching grouse

12. Disheveled, with bodies losing nourishment
And when we came to the water, it was agitated

13. Sometimes with the waters of the valleys
Until we came to Taybah after that

14. Then to Lit’iya and troubles that waste away
The ninth of Muharram had passed while we stood

15. At the shrine of Ahmed with outstretched hands
May Allah bless him whenever lightning flashed

16. And its clouds flowed through the valleys
