1. O you who has amidst the sands
Homes that are not inhabited

2. I have lived in it and in them upon
The shoreline the rubbed down

3. I have made you my sacrifice, spared you so
That in my creed you are pure

4. And you think I stand
From Mecca, and you whisper

5. It is most beloved as it is
The dearest of homes yearned for

6. And for it is a right that has sworn
And I swore I will not stain

7. That if God commands
Without you I will not forget

8. And prevents me from Mecca
Except the wretched miserable one

9. And if the youth purifies intentions
Then how by injustice will he be stained

10. We ask God for satisfaction
And attain what we seek

11. So He makes us succeed in what
Succeeded the glorious dignified one

12. Oh my thoughts, forbid you
From the risk of doubts so you despair

13. I am not pleased, o my thoughts
By what the one seated says

14. Neither by pacts, for traitors
And honor is not degraded

15. I did not rise except in
Places by which we are delighted

16. Until I succeeded in some
And the rest, difficult to attain

17. And upon you from me greetings
And the most precious praise

18. And to you, if the Holy One destines, and He is Sacred
In the twelfth, I am coming or covered in dust

19. And if Hamza comes to you
In your company to be companionable

20. Until I meet up with him by you and the enemy miserable
And to you soon a system not spoken by the mute one

21. Without it the foolish and the seeking youth stopped
From a poet not in eloquence is his thinking wretched

22. Or borrows a garment from another he divides
Free speech he has it gathered by which he is piled up

23. And for him penetrating rhymes, undeviating, tough
How many pretenders have claimed days ended

24. And from talents are bankrupt
If I was far from you, I am the sincere one, and if I attended I dazzle
