1. O night sleeper, the night has dawned
And the star has set, and the face of morning shone

2. And the shooting stars in the sands of Al-Jirba’ you’d think
They are the precious pearls towards the west scattered

3. They wandered like the lost after resurrection, confused
Suhail was their leader though they disagreed

4. The leaves fluttered and with melodies sang
On the table of meadows while the valleys whistled

5. Rise from your slumber if you seek
To do good deeds, seize the chance at dawn

6. Honorable men won by their sweet sleep emigrated
So abandon your sleep to gain rewards from migration

7. O you who claim to love the Creator, I see you
Languid on the bed from cups of anguish overflowed

8. The lover of whom he desires has an eye
That enjoys for the one who spends his night vigil

9. Two bows in the darkness of night bringing
Your pleasure, fortune, and triumph

10. Whoever of you seeks the houri to embrace
Let him ask God to be blessed with her at dawn

11. I see you, O servants of God, intoxicated
Alas, the elite’s path is far from one intoxicated

12. If it benefited your minds, you’d all
See death as admonition

13. Where is he who built a palace to live in?
I see him squeezed in the burrows he shortened

14. And hoarded gold in wealth
To end up in the earth’s belly unaware of what he hoarded

15. O my Creator, I call upon You pleading
Grant me salvation and for sin be Forgiving

16. I seek Your neighborhood, save me from the torment to come
You are my protection, so no guards do I need

17. Bless the Prophet always with Your prayers
And his family, the elite of great feats
