1. O Lord, a desperate man's plea
A prisoner bound by wicked deeds

2. I have overcome tribes in word and deed
So forgiving my brother is a wholesome act

3. I stood at the door of Your forgiveness pleading
Hoping to attain the Giving Protector

4. And I repented to You of word and deed
Wretched in attire or impoverished

5. With Your forgiveness if You accept my remorse
And if You do not pardon my foulness

6. I am the servant who rode sins
Riding like the cunning, clever thief

7. I leaned towards sins, intentionally and not
Leaning like feeble, crippled camel

8. And here I am, ashamed to meet You, my Lord
In a garment I wove from foul deeds

9. I dared the ugly against You until
I stood by the covenant, betrayer

10. And I did not leave any foul deed
Nor fell short of doing wickedness
