1. We bid you farewell, our loved ones, a brief goodbye
Just six days until we return

2. We bid you farewell, though in our hearts
Yearning burns, spreading its glow

3. We bid you farewell, though tears well up
Flowing down our cheeks continuously

4. We think of you both near and far
And none deserve thought more than you

5. May God guard a heart other than one that guards you
And cares for you and for none but you

6. We bid you farewell, our loved ones, and hope
After this parting to meet again soon

7. And were it not for love of God's house, we would not
Have chosen to part from you for a moment

8. We asked God to return us to you
And swiftly grant us this wish

9. We will remember you in Mecca during the Sa'y
So expand for us our time and hours

10. And we ask our Lord to be pleased with you
And we ask Ahmad to intercede for you

11. And we ask you for prayers so that
Through them we may benefit

12. A thousand greetings from us to you
Scattered like roses or musk cast about
