1. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Tablet and the Pen
And the wind, the spirit, the basil, and the soul

2. The Initiator of revelation from revelation, without injustice
Upon inanimate objects, bodies, and those with a soul

3. The King who owns kingship, revelation comes not unto Him about it
Nor do creation speak of it, but He reveals unto them

4. Builder of the heavens in layers without pillars
And the earth, He smoothed it as a resting place

5. fixer of the firmaments, made firm by Him
So that desire may say because of its love: it flowed gently

6. Caused ships to sail by wind across seas, and if
He willed, he would have made them sail without wind

7. Holder of birds in the sky's atmosphere without
Grasping, and sending them off without waving

8. Mover of winds, impregnator of clouds, which rain down
Water made salty by salt

9. And made the garden joyous with blossoming flowers and with
Planted trees, soft and firm

10. And in it split open the sleeves of plants, so from it
Is tender, succulent, edible, and salty

11. And apportioned rizq between creation entirely
Like the distribution of water between flowers and ponds

12. Allah does not cease being beyond all likenesses
To anything, and is found living without a soul

13. He is Eternal, and all things have their beginning in
Existence, brought into being for one brought out

14. Glorious, Holy, Knower of mysteries, so none
Is called holy save Him, Glorious and Extolled

15. Encompassed knowledge of what will come, what has passed, what
Will not come, knowledge composed clearly

16. He is All-Hearing without hearing, All-Seeing without sight
Sees by night the creeping of ants on barren land

17. My Creator, I call you beseeching,
A call shackled with sin, cast down

18. O Accepter of repentance, grant me forgiveness
Even if I came with effort unsown

19. Through You I gained refuge from the sin which I
Feared, my soul startled and became disturbed

20. Pardon, clemency, benevolence, and gain me
O You to Whose Face my worship and extolling are made

21. Seize me not for the crimes I forwarded
Nor terminate me while I am unconsoled

22. And hear my call and do not disappoint my hopes, for this
Is whom I turned to for favor allowed

23. O aroma of a servant who answered, calls upon
The door of hope while it is unopened

24. My Master, Noah's wish you have asked, do not
Make my hopes feeble beyond Noah's wish

25. Grant me responsive and grant me from You forgiveness
And make my intercessor the Day of Assembly my praised one

26. Muhammad al-Mustafa, the sent from Mudar
Most sublime alive over the world and extinguished

27. And accept my repentance for my means are cut off
Except to You and my state is not expounded

28. So say: "I free you from the sin you fell captive of
A prisoner of heavy shackles and bent over

29. And I have written you among the righteous, and made
Your state with Me undesirable unfound

30. And I have protected you from Hellfire tomorrow
And say to my soul: "To My Paradise come, O soul."
