1. The hyenas devised a scheme on a journey
They were once free and graceful ladies
١. إِنَّ ضُباعَ اِبتَكَرَت عَلى سَفَر
بانَت وَكانَت حُرَّةً ذاتَ خَفَر
2. Of virtuous and beautiful appearance
Now the wife of a wretched man of ill repute
٢. مِنَ العَفيفاتِ الجَميلاتِ الصُوَر
قَد أَصبَحَت زَوجَةُ شَمّاخٍ بِشَر
3. I hear no news of her today
٣. فَما أَنالُ اليَومَ مِنها مِن خَبَر
