1. The arrival of spring holidays is complete
With a face like the face of a meadow, smiling

5. So neither is the compassion witnessed, nor the words pleasant
Nor the opinion praised, nor the matter decisive

6. And in it was like the sickness of intent
Until the messenger, the Muslim, came near it

7. It came as clouds, its lightning truthful, after
The hands had appealed to God and the mouth

8. So you were its remedy after the one who was its illness
And in the house whoever was not cured did not become sick

Far apart is what's between the two glories in loftiness

10. And can her praised one and her dispraised be equal?
He came governing it, stingy with wealth, not feeding enmity

11. And returned to his days complaining
And was not aware that people have years

12. When stuck in his reputation, they're like arrows
When a man does not guard his honor with wealth

13. Then how can he count what he gained as profit while losing?
And the squanderer of wisdom is he who spent his life

14. Without that which satisfies the Most High, severed
The avaricious one wishes if his life

15. Could be sold even if the proceeds a dirham
God has decreed, and the abundant glorious Most High

16. That you're released from the two inconstant, defective ones
If he is toxic, then grudges a blunt blade

17. And if dispraised, then the days a cleaving sword
Why not, when you're the son of the one whose fame

18. Extended to the horizon's edge, star glowing after star
His feats on the forehead of time like what

19. Is recited and enumerated on the pages of the writings
And the master only resembles his well-bred one

20. The magnificent, the eminent, the greatest ruler
So oh you outstanding in excellence and superiority

21. And from whose glory in every land there is an encampment
You have erased the darkness of injustice in every land

22. With your justice until injustice has no sacred place
And if the lovers complain of the length of their night

23. It would not be out of fear of you tyrannizing and being unjust
I called upon you while around me tribes

24. Of worries, enviers, blamers, and disparagers
And estrangement handed me over, and solitude betrayed me

25. And I have no one to seek refuge with to protect me

26. If I don't have you as a waterer for my thirst
And your sea with shores abundantly filled

27. Then this is my poetry, its water turbid
Otherwise, this is my gut, all of it blood
