1. The arrival of the crowned king with a necklace
Of security that comes to us each day renewed

2. The people are healthy and the city is calm, gone is
He who rebelled here following his whims

3. The pain of illness complained, so it was soothed
At the hands of the Master, nothing like it before

4. Of the noble Turkish guard if called upon
Not one but excels the rest in valor

5. Safety for the fearful, shade for the weary
For generosity provision, for virtue a wellspring

6. Is it right that we not praise as our Egypt’s Jesus
And defender of the Law’s honor here Muhammad

7. He came while all manner of afflictions
And oppression blinded its protectors

8. He did not stop until he extracted its cataracts
With work that heals the heartsick and cools their fever

9. No injustice but kindness holds sway
No sword but sheathed in its scabbard

10. Dawn broke and the noble cause shone
As if beneath the clouds a full moon peaked

11. As if his features and palms were a garden
Strewn with pearls from scattered rainclouds

12. If his chest were not a sea of knowledge
None would doubt minds kindled by him

13. His generosity, kindness and grace ever ample
Graced by Allah's gentle eternal blessing
