What a fine food and fine delicacy!

3. Clarified butter of a ewe and curd cheese
Are the adornments of a feast like the hump of a lamb

4. And the meat of a tender lamb roasted
I brought it snarling with my canine tooth

5. As for whales and sea cows
I have always been quite sick of them

6. I got that just as you got it
Yet I saw no old man frowning

7. Not in eggs like chicken eggs
And locust eggs that cure scabies

8. Clouds are the food of the Arab
Yet the souls of non-Arabs don't crave them
