1. With your hand and your right opinion,
Glories have retreated behind you.

2. You rained me with the clouds of dew,
Along with the distance of my land from your skies.

3. My praise of your signs is praise that reveals
The setting of the sun to your days.

4. There is no blessing in your presence
That has come from you other than your meeting.

5. I am a liar if there is ever
More truthful than my hope in you.

6. You have become the star of religion where
The stars fall short of your ascension.

7. Where are the foundations compared to your love
Or the bracelets compared to your affection?

8. The generosity of your company stunned praise
And your overflowing favors left me in awe.

9. I am free by your forgiveness, however gratitude
From me is in your captivity.

10. By God, when you are clothed
In brilliant garments with the angels,

11. And the stars of the honored fall
Into the mansions from your crown,

12. It is as if the day of al-Karīhah is only
Doubtful while it entertains you.

13. With openings from your sight
Or shields from your generosity.

14. Your renowned flashes have not
Left the kingdoms without your flashes.

15. Time betrayed our loyalty
When it learned loyalty from you.

16. And I see the morning came giving good news
Of your fragrance being scattered.

17. The beauty of the dawn, so the
Face of the atmosphere glows in your serenity.

18. And I was intoxicated with what I thanked,
So nothing turns except your sides.

19. O caller of the branches, say:
In your morning or evening.

20. Nothing hurried me with your righteousness
If I could fulfill repaying you.

21. So I am poor unto your riches
And longing unto your melodies.

22. And there, O my sick heart,
I have found the cure of your medicine.

23. You did not complain of the pain of passion
Until you won the one with your healing.

24. O abode of his visit, and how slight
Is his approach compared to your approach?

25. Noble, lofty island branch,
It manifests in your building.

26. I have not found more truthful in
Sorcery, nor sicker than my love for you.

27. The rust on the shadows unlike the whites of India
That polishes the sword of your clouds.

28. And the face of life shines when
Your brilliant full moons appear.

29. And if the morning breeze passes by it
Look to the sky in your affection.

30. The clouds laid down their threads
And you took the rains of March as your defender.

31. So your forgotten nobility shone in
Garments that hint at your nobility.

32. The harvest of distance and enmity is in me
Quenched by your narrations.

33. The sorrows of grief are enlivened by you
And perish in your annihilation.

34. By God, the day we gather in you
And how excellent is your conclusion!

35. So forgive the envious, as forgiveness
Is your custom beyond their harm.

36. Their nights have been violent with them, so your servants
Have complained of your pain.

37. And you have certainly enriched me, so how can
One under your authority not be enriched?

38. And if I asked, I do not ask save
What remains for me except your remainder.
