1. Brighter than the purest sand, so it would seem,
In gentleness his nature rivals generosity's scion.

2. I smell sweetness from every praise,
Just so, fragrant praise halted at its mark.

3. The darkness of time lifted from me by his face,
And the blows of misfortune pulled away from injustice.

4. Truly I seek the Highest from his side,
Nor did seeker of glory stray from the star.
