Its dwellings are those with flawed pillars

And the whites of swords like flames

Lest the sun dons a child's garb

To the corner of your palm, contracting and loosening

5. For its essence is a spring of dew
And its surface, a kiss for kisses

6. In it is healing and the pleasure of bliss
And life's delight and the grace of death

7. So how can one like me presume
To reach the honor of its place?

8. And one whom if the steeds of glory raced
Their range would still fall short

9. If you have attained what none can attain
Then fate has not fulfilled all hopes

10. One who desires the moon neglects the stars
One who dares the sea scorns the streams

11. And I am not ungrateful for its blessings
That never cease to fill me

12. But my hopes seek more
That may become a parable

13. For how much has been said of me, gathering
And you - no wonder you have done so!
