1. The kingdom rose high with my father Al-'Abbas
The highest of kings after decline

2. And joy spread among all the people
With the kingdom of the refined, generous one

3. May God be pleased with his guidance and chose him
So he is content with God and destiny

4. One who was nurtured by knowledge raises himself
In beautiful, flourishing gardens

5. Perfection and virtues were completed in him
Before twenty years of his life passed

6. So he is best of those who came
With knowledge and devotion to it

7. The caliphate inclined toward him willingly
With the consensus of all people and contentment

8. And the agreement of nobles, realizing
And the gathering of loyalty and firm resolve

9. Religion was sick before him, and came to him
Free of illness with him

10. And time enjoyed when the kingdom appeared
And dispelled its darkness with whiteness

11. Passionate with knowledge, passion of a lover
Who was deprived of his love with aloofness

12.
People come back from him with perpetual generosity

13. Of sweet fragrance, flowing springs
They praised Muhammad for the good kingdom

14. By fulfilling the rights of people and justice
Favors for the patron from him who gifted him

15. And curses upon the enemy, perishing
Resolute opinion takes hold of discourse before him

16. The difficult yields before it without resistance

17. O leader of guidance, the bonds of chivalry
Were untied before you and schemes unraveled

18. You gained perfect glory that people
Cling to in parts out of need

19. And rose above the stars with a house
Of towering honor, prominent

20. God's proof has come O qibla of religion
It cannot be pushed away with rejection

21. The sword warns whoever disobeys you
Of imminent ruin and destruction

22. And a heavy punishment and burden
That would break the back, whatever breaking

23. I am not one who wants through praise a state
That extends glory after withdrawal

24. I have been quenched from the bounty of an imam
I will never be discontent with it as long as I live

25. Good news - his giving is plenty like
The rain, guide of pouring rain

26. And I preceded people in praising him
Despite those who hate and resent

27. And I picked the finest phrases on his glory
So I made its difficulty easy by taking

28. And my punishment in his past days
Was long, avoiding, aloof

29. Came a pardon without asking, promise,
Or reminder seeking payment

30. Pure, flowing like clear water
Over smooth ground

And I was honored to sit with him

32. In a talk that a frequenter enjoys
And I attained purpose and people congratulated me

33. With ample, copious clothing
And I exchanged humbleness for honor

34. Worry departed from me with dispersal
And worry calmed after avoiding

35. The harvest of caution from rousers
And the enemy took back my plot

36. And the eyes of anger turned joyous about me
I do not see one blocking my bounty

37. Even if it is slow to me in displeasure
Or one blaming the days

38. Complaining of the wounds of harm
The imam sufficed me what had worried me

39. And saved me from the state of decline
And I picked riches with my praise despite

40. Hands that had moist hostility toward him
I did not turn to destitution or accept

41. Demolition that I would collapse upon
Misfortunes reach me sometimes

42. And sometimes obstruction like an ostrich's
After omens took my place

43. And the star of my fortune fell to destruction
Despair took me, so it led shields

44. From attaining the salvation of the righteous
And the estrangement of travel showed me

45. What the estrangement of farewells forgot
And the debt of youth requited me with old age

46. In which is aggression and ugliness of seeking
I wonder how it obligated a sin

47. That was not from borrowing and taking
An unjust fair one, quick yet slow

48. Preceding whose running is without limping

49. So I was darkened with whiteness
And prevented with it from the union of radiance

50. And I wore dignity by force
And my skin withered in long nights

51. And claws came to me from people
Like meteors falling on peaks

52. Every weak, sleepy one when
People rise to the heights, rousing

53. They left me to what I fear
Lost, destroyed by griefs

54. God knows what I used to suffer
From sorrow and disgust in you

55. I have not tasted since riding the steed of fear
The pleasure of rest and sleep

56. I cannot defend you or own anything
Except worries and depression

57. The black lions of hatred roared at me
They did not disappear in thickets and forests

58. And time separated me from you with fangs
Keen of tooth, tearing flesh

59. It came eating my flesh and the bone was pleased
With me, by crushing and gnawing

60. And I used kohl of wakefulness and constant caution
Fearing a lurking, tearing lion

61. From an envious rival to me over you
Who swims in the sea of your blame

62. One hostile to me for what I Captivate
Of praise despite harm, tearing

63. So God showed me what I hoped of Him
And I was compensated best compensation

64. O imam of guidance, listen to a loyal one
Journeying in praising you, pulverizing

65. Sacrificing oneself is duty to you, pure
Advice from a family to you taking pains

66. Every disobedient one, skin him
With the whip, make him neigh with hits

67. People's superiority in courage and insight
Is like the superiority of threshing to grinding

68. The destination of war when it avoids war
And its horses are cast into the grazing land

He supported the kingdom in it with hands

70. Of knowledge, healing society with wisdom
Giving opinion, traveling the path of resolve

71. Afflictions therein are not like pebbles
The four corners flourished with an imam

72. Fighting oppression, answering the rouser
People recognized his merit like recognizing

73. The aim of arrows with their marks

74. Whoever saw his love like supererogatory
Prayer, I see it as obligatory

75. God supported his kingdom through a minister
Independent in opinion, active

76. Knowledgeable of the times, it pleased him
As one defiant and willful to consent

77. Doubt did not surround his certainty
Nor obstruction confront it with resistance

78. Amusing for your patron, serious
Against your enemy, judging

79. An advisor who did not wade into exposing secrets
In the past time with the deceitful

80. God inclined your house of wealth to him
With a gathering, not rejection

81. Not preoccupied if advice wears the garb
Of a complaining or discontent grumbler

82. Of people whose pens are arrows of the king
But without loyalty in discharge

83. Assemblies for the matter after separation
Mending the glory after collapse

84. It did not see a reconciler except
It shackled his effort without consent
