2. Who loves virtues and glory
And gives wealth generously with thanks and gratitude

3. People have never seen in the excellent minister, the buraidi
Goodness and pride like today

4. The sky has rained upon us goodness
And generosity from him abundant and plentiful

5. The dinars pour down like shooting stars
Falling from the sky in clusters

6. Followed by dirhams resembling hail
Filling the places with scattering abundance

7. Beneficial for agriculture, no loss comes to the crops
Nor does drought accompany the rainfall

8. Except that I turned away disappointed
Saddened, empty-handed, bleak and barren

9. Harboring regret for that and sorrow
Finding in my bones from me only weakness

10. Silent, if asked about my share
I found in myself no answer for the question

11. May God gather upon me punishment and affliction
Taking me from destitution into naked poverty

12. Brandishing against the rich a sword and sharp blade
With it no view can treat poverty

13. So enrich yourself as I was accustomed to
With the generosity of the noblest man
