3. The evildoers of Iraq deceived him
And took advantage of his innocence

4. So you were hurt, my Lord
Though you hear and obey

5. Oh, if only there had been for him
On the day of loss, supporters

6. Or if the people of Iraq had not broken their vow
The tribe of Lakiy'ah

7. You would have found them, when angered
Showing no mercy or restraint
