1. Behold this blooming garden and wonder,
And drink the scented rose and be joyous,

2. For the rose displays the glint of silk brocade
Opened from a golden bracelet.

3. Thus it says: open in my time
Your pouches and spend in delight,

4. How good is the wine and the loved ones in the tavern,
And the daughter of the grape in the cup.

5. Arise and serve me, exclaim over the roses,
Those cheeks of beauty with the flames.

6. And pluck the strings with songs, O our minstrel,
To obtain the wishes of the noble.
