What our enemies do without dignity.

8. And smooth cheeked Turkish boy, woe to him
From that boy.

9. Beauty has written above his cheeks with
A blade of rose, in the best handwriting.

10. So he is crying “Why don’t I harvest in it
The sweetest wine?"

11. His cheek's lightning dazzled us with a smile
Love of clouds appears in it.

12. He blooms from the eyelids, an ardent

14. When he is proud of saying that he belongs
To the most honorable king of great determination.

15. A king that the minds of the generous never

16. Spendthrift with wealth, protector of honor, concerned

17. So among the chivalrous he has the eggs
That tore the veil of the darkness of annihilation.

18. Come oh God, for only You transcended
Being described by the wise.

19. The hyenas never had the audacity during
War, the hyenas have no strategy.

20. And lions fear him as the beasts of prey feared
The preying eagles.

21. So praise befits him as it was said to ‘Amr
Before in Al-Samaw'al.

22. The arbiter of opinion in poetry, so he has become
The most just of rulers in poetry.

23. His worth is the worth of the Night of Power in every
Era in which is the month of fasting.

24. His sword vanquishes enemies while they are vigilant
And it terrifies them in sleep.

25. God knew that he is the most clement
Of kings, all people altogether.

26. Annulling in battle the armies of enemies,
Unfaltering in invalidation and decree.

27. The day the children of Shem narrate about him
The rust of ancient coats of mail, the children of Ham.

28. At your hands, O most honorable king,
The color of every darkness becomes radiant.

29. Your days which we see are the best
Of all days.

30. And to your happiness descended clouds
That make descending clouds embarrassed.

31. And whenever you brandish a sword one day
Death smiles in the swords' edges.

32. O straightness of the awe-inspiring mouth with stabbings
Of the enemies' flanks and neck strikes.

33. And steadfastness that shatters against steadfastness
Of steadfast ones with the skulls of hyenas.

34. Passionate about daring, your enemies on
The day of battle are forced to refrain.

35. So upon the master of all, the most honorable king,
The most loyal greeting and peace.

36. May his rule and happiness last as long as
Partridges and fish and the son of completion lasted.
