1. With gentle swaying gait
He sheds light, not conceit,

2. In him is comfort for those who seek
In his presence, solace and respite.

3. How many hearts do arrows
Pierce in vulnerable moments unspared,

4. A man whose tears flow in blood
Weary of futile swimming against the tide.

5. You who blame, desist,
Have you not erred and transgressed?

6. Would you fault me for one whose heart
Was broken and in anguish confessed?

7. So too this sun of faith has
Attained zeal and grace.

8. Ismail finds peace in the
Ways of manners, whenever it takes place.

9. Lord of heritage and earning,
And eloquence and clear expression.

10. Hero of words and insight,
And valor and steadfast procession.

11. He seeks honor defending,
With wealth given freely abounding,

12. Thus over leaders in merit exceeding,
In wisdom and balance astounding.

13. His views in their rectitude
Reveal candor and care.

14. Those who enjoy in their era
Tranquility are blessed and rare.

15. He elevates souls in his diligence,
And wit, distant from torment.

16. I had complained of what the roamer
Bemoaned of barren farmland.

17. But he eased my heart with humor
His words the greatest reprieve,

18. The sun stood before you, sun of faith
His words the greatest relieve.

19. So you dyed it with gold, O son
Of the gilded from morn’s first light,

20. My lord sun of faith, O builder
Of bliss upon sanctioned delight.

21. You have an oasis for the elite
Of refuge, your chastity the best dune,

22. Never may adversity reach
Your domain, ever immune.
