Fasting and prayers would be for you.

6. You are needless of all beauty.
Does this wealth not require charity?

7. A rich man's procrastination is injustice
When there is no loyalty or connection.

8. You have unjustly turned the youths from you
And the grammarians did not permit it.

9. So the envious have turned away from me
With gloating in their hearts.

10. If only you had shed light in my heart
Rulers do not act this way!

11. You are the judge and you are the adversary
So be just as judges are just.

12. Be helpful, equitable, generous and good to me
For I have erred.

13. I am the obedient one who encounters
In love what rebels encounter.

14. My heart is a shy, fleet gazelle
Whose glance would shame the wild cow.

15. A spear, if it secretly gazes
No hunter escapes from its point.

16. I am not safe from love for him
Rather I have become as I began.
