The Quran came and Allah sent it

جاء القران وأم الله أرسله

1. The Quran came and Allah sent it
It was a veil over religions, so they tore

١. جاءَ القِرانُ وَأَمُ اللَهِ أَرسَلَهُ
وَكانَ سِترٌ عَلى الأَديانِ فَاِنخَرَقا

2. No kingdom was established except it crumbled
No group allied except they separated and differed

٢. ما أُبرِمَ المُلكُ إِلّا عادَ مُنتَقَضاً
وَلا تَأَلَّفَ إِلّا شَتَّ وَاِفتَرَقا

3. They made sects out of their livelihoods
Whoever contemplates them, they give anxiety

٣. مَذاهِبٌ جَعَلوها مِن مَعايِشِهِم
مَن يُعمِلِ الفَِكرَ فيها تُعطِهِ الأَرقا

4. Warn your offspring, for the fire that came out
If it hits its wood it will burn

٤. إِحذَر سَليلَكَ فَالنارُ الَّتي خَرَجَت
مِن زِندِها إِن أَصابَت عودَهُ اِحتَرَقا

5. And all of us are evil people, I do not
Specify some of the people, but all the sects

٥. وَكُلُّنا قَومُ سوءٍ لا أَخِصُّ بِهِ
بَعضَ الأَنامِ وَلَكِن أَجمَعُ الفِرقا

6. You do not expect a brother or a son from them
And if you see modesty, it pours sweat

٦. لا تَرجُوَنَّ أَخاً مِنهُم وَلا وَلَداً
وَإِن رَأَيتَ حَياءً أَسبَغَ العَرَقا

7. And the soul is worse than all the enemies
And if it was alone with you one day, beware of division

٧. وَالنَفسُ شَرٌّ مِنَ الأَعداءِ كُلِّهُمُ
وَإِن خَلَت بِكَ يَوماً فَاِحتَرِز فَرَقا

8. How many masters, their glory sparkles,
Were equalized with the lowly at death and lightning

٨. كَم سَيِّدٍ بارِقُ الجَدوى بِمَيسِمِهِ
ساوَوا بِهِ الجَدِيَ عِندَ الحَتفِ وَالبَرَقا

9. If you throw at an old man, a religious gang
Evidence of a mind, about what he said, a tear

٩. إِن رُمتَ مِن شَيخٍ رَهطٍ في دِيانَتِهِ
دَليلَ عَقلٍ عَلى ما قالَهُ خَرَقا

10. And how can I harvest when their branch did not bloom for me
The branch is not harvested until it is clothed with leaves

١٠. وَكَيفَ أَجني وَلَم يُرِق لَهُم غُصني
وَالغُصنُ لَم يُجنَ حَتّى أُلبِسَ الوَرَقا

11. Honored is the All-Dominant, how many times a comfort was destroyed
Unjustly while its like would take the theft

١١. عَزَّ المُهَيمِنُ كَم مِن راحَةٍ بُتِكَت
ظُلماً وَكانَ سِواها يَأخُذُ السَرَقا

12. And pearls met their doom in their palms
And how much the sea embraced without fearing drowning

١٢. وَالدُرُّ لاقى المَنايا في أَكُفِّهِمُ
وَكم ثَوى البَحرَ لا يَخشى بِهِ غَرَقا

13. Who is ambiguous is not satisfied with his falsehood
Until they clarified ways to believe him

١٣. مَينٌ يُرَدَّدُ لَم يَرضوا بِباطِلِهِ
حَتّى أَبانوا إِلى تَصديقِهِ طُرُقا

14. No sanity - be silent and do not ask them for sanity
For felicity in companionship is a passing specter, it knocked and left

١٤. لا رُشدَ فَاِصمُت وَلا تَسأَلهُم رِشداً
فَاللُبُّ في الأُنسِ طَيفٌ زائِرٌ طَرَقا

15. And the eater of food does not lack suffering
And the drinker of water does not safely swallow

١٥. وَآكِلُ القَوتِ لَم يُعدَم لَهُ عَنَتاً
وَشارِبُ الماءِ لَم يَأمَن بِهِ شَرَقا

16. And the seer of the eye and world, it is seen
He does not know whether blackness came or blueness

١٦. وَناظِرُ العَينِ وَالدُنِّيا رُئِيَت
ما إِن دَرى أَسواداً حَلَّ أَم زَرَقا

17. If you uncover the state of the monks
All of them seek the garb and paper

١٧. إِذا كَشَفتَ عَنِ الرِهبانِ حالَهُمُ
فَكُلُّهُم يَتَوَخّى التِبرَ وَالوَرِقا
