1. I stand, I no longer consider the Hajj an obligation
Upon the incapacity of women and virgins

2. For in the valley of Mecca is the secret of a people
Who are neither protectors nor zealots

3. And the elders of Shaybah who reside there
When she travels to her Kaaba, the pyre

4. A standing that drives away the delegation in pairs
To the Sacred House, while they are drunk

5. When they took dividends, they drove them
Even if they were Jews or Christians

6. Whenever good comes to you, do it
And say if righteousness calls you, "I see."

7. So if the transgressors were told, "You recognize the revelation
Of the veiled lie what was hidden

8. Neither trust what they have made nor wrought
Their horses have come competing

9. It flowed for a while and settles after a while
And the purpose of the All-Dominant cannot be matched

10. Maybe the conjunction of this star will incline
To the paths of guidance nations astray

11. For they were destroyed by aridity and thirst
And their belvederes with fine gravel

12. And I do not know if above the skilled
I yearn when I look at the mother of the skilled

13. A state came upon them that subjugated and dignified
So they spent the night in its misguidance captive

14. And they thought purity connected to a people
And I swear they are not the pure

15. And people's eyes never saw everyone
But in its shadows they mingle

16. They have a word that contradicts what they harbored
In their breasts with its validity they contend
