My cup but earthenware or hide

From men whose might does not endure

5. Stars witnessed Tubba’s rule sublime
And all who came before, in ancient time

6. Though their mansions seem as mountains planted
Their might through ages was slanted

7. Regret the sin when you go to it
For regret is what the penitent admit

8. And servants of words, not truth or goal
Are like men dubbed “servants” but slaves in soul

9. Manhood is not just form or limb
Bangles on feet do not strengthen him

10. Wealth is like a follower, least thing
But ease in poverty is a blessing
