3. Visiting the mosque in her prayer shawl,
She wails in affected piety,

4. With languid eyes unveiled by any kerchief,
May God protect her from her imam,

5. Her saliva is wine in her mouth’s lock,
The venom of a viper flows from its fangs,

6. Though she descends protected by her veil,
No rain could quench her burning thirst,

7. When the spear includes her among its targets,
She stays home feigning anxiety,

8. Until the delegates come from her bath,
Bearing her spindle to accomplish her scheme,

9. Fulfilling her every whim and desire.
