1. O Creator of the full moon and the morning sun
You are my sole reliance in every situation
2. All kingdoms belong to You, each king is Your servant
He has no lasting kingdom, so how can he be called king?
3. Tomorrow, the son of Jacob will be asked about
Like the son of Umayr in the throes of death he will be asked
4. And like the faded wreath of Zuhair that is gone
Wreaths wither among flowers, wherever they may be
5. My soul yearned for a refuge for itself
But I said wait, this is not up to you
6. Surely He who created you will decide as He wills
And His decree will prevail, so chastise your blamer
7. The sea lies within His power, a handful
And the vast celestial sphere, it is but His fistful
