1. My beloved, I composed verses about fate
I hope my composition encourages me

2. Events pass and time lengthens
And the eloquent needs metaphor

3. How can I expect a good deed from you
When I'm sure I don't deserve it

4. Not all my words match reality
But contain various metaphors

5. Perhaps the Tigris, Euphrates and Nile of Egypt
Will be moved and flow to Hejaz
