1. Slow down, O cloud, do not be so generous
Watering the deserts out of ignorance, you have erred

2. Seeking religion in the wilderness
Indeed your arrows went astray when you shot them

3. Disguised in Sufism, deceitfully
Did you visit men or are you blind?

4. And they stood in their gatherings and circled around
As if they were idols from a shrine

5. They did not dance in awe of a god
But desire only what you have offered

6. I found people to be dead like the living
In good remembrance, or alive like the dead
