١. إِذا كُنتَ ذا اِثنَتَينِ فَاِعدِل أَوِ اِتَّحِد
بِنَفسِكَ فَالتَوحيدُ أَولى مِنَ العَدلِ
2. The lips of passion destroy the left that shelter it,
Beware of her skillful claws that tear and rend.
٢. شِفاهُ المَها تُفني يَساراً تَيفئُهُ
عَلَيكَ المَهاري مِن مَشافِرِها الهُدلِ
