1. Make your devotion know her whisper's caress
And time has repeated the letter R on and on
١. إِجعَل تُقاكَ الهاءَ تَعرِف هَمسَها
وَالراءَ كَرَّرَها الزَمانَ مُكَرِّرُ
2. They spoke of hell, I said its embers
And flames join the scattered sparks
٢. قالوا جَهَنَّمُ قُلتُ إِنَّ شَرارَها
وَلَهيبَها يَصلاهُما المُتَشَرِّرُ
3. Do not tell the essence of your faith to a people
Halfway, or you will be fooled
٣. لا تُخبِرَنَّ بِكُنهُ دينِكَ مَعشَراً
شُطُراً وَإِن تَفعَل فَأَنتَ مُغَرِّرُ
4. Be silent, for silence suffices its people
Speaking reveals the hidden and affirms
٤. وَاِصمُت فَإِنَّ الصَمتَ يَكفي أَهلَهُ
وَالنُطقُ يُظهِرُ كامِناً وَيُقَرِّرُ
