1. I care for nothing in this world but her who delights me,
Though I divorced her in recalcitrance forced on me.

2. But in truth she is one who would bear any wrong that pleased her,
So arise and return to the one who adorns you, Ibrahim.

3. For we are but captives of this world,
And captives shall be led by it wherever it will.
