1. They read their journeys, while the truth informs me

2. You were right, O mind, so let the foolish brother be dismissed
He fabricated tales or misinterpreted them

ุตุงุบู ุงูุฃูุญุงุฏูุซู ุฅูููุงู ุฃูู ุชูุฃูููููููุง
3. Ink is not with innovation among his companions
If he gained benefit relating fabricated news
ูฃ. ูููููุณู ุญูุจุฑู ุจูุจูุฏุนู ูู ุตูุญุงุจูุชููู

ู ูููุนุงู ุจูุฃูุฎุจุงุฑู ุชูููููููููุง
4. Rather he sought to marry women with what he invented
And acquired wealth with what he misappropriated

5. Misery has been prolonged by the person being among nations
That count its misguided one as depended upon
ูฅ. ุทุงูู ุงูุนููุงุกู ุจูููููู ุงูุดูุฎุตู ูู ุฃูู

ุชูุนูุฏูู ููุฑููุฉู ุบุงูููุง ู
ูุนูููููููุง
6. And he will sleep in the dust, troubled
After traveling the horizons of his world and wandering through it
ูฆ. ููุณูููู ููุฑููุฏู ูู ุงูุบูุจุฑุงุกู ู
ูุถุทูุฑูุจู
ููุฏ ุณุงุฑู ุขูุงูู ุฏูููุงูู ููุฌูููููููุง
7. I will surely abandon you, not out of past hatred
But dignity instilled by fate and tempted by it
ูง. ููุฃููุฌูุฑูููููู ูุง ุนูู ุจูุบุถูุฉู ุณูููููุช

8. The companion of Islamic law had Jerusalem as his direction of prayer
He prayed towards it for a time, then changed it

10. Sermons are nothing but ruses
From one with speech over people he has misled

11. Time makes forgotten the sword bearer in war
His armor and the dashing stallion in its prime
ูกูก. ููุงูุฏููุฑู ูููุณู ููู
ูููู ุงูุญูุฑุจู ุตุงุฑูู

ููุฏูุฑุนููู ููููุชุงุฉู ุงูุญูููู ู
ูุฌูููููุง
12. And takes back from the soul which became noble
What it was given in days passed long ago

ููู ุงููููุณู ุงูููุชู ุดูุฑูููุช

13. An orator became dust after his speech
And did not resemble the wilderness he declaimed

14. Spend time wholesomely and walk about

15. A sip of roses will suffice if you obtain it
On your travels, if the land denied you its streams
