1. The noble ones stay true to their virtuous ways,
A people whose leader shuns false religion.

2. Keen insight into men’s hearts, Rightly-guided,
None can match the Prophet’s writings, scholars all.

3. A single teardrop falls when its time is due,
For everything has its proper time and measure.

4. It fell in a sacred mosque on the Imam of Guidance -
A band had come to force Abu Hassan inside

5. So he could enter the Gardens, but for his killer
It made obligatory the hellfire afterwards.
