1. Congratulations to the minister for fulfilling his duty
With him the era became joyful and content

2. And the return of his ministry which was brought to him
Is like the return of a loved one after separation

3. My father Abdel Ilah, the most glorious protector
Was gracious with youthfulness and vitality

4. And this brings happiness to Ya'qub his brother
And their generous progenitor Abu Al-Husain

5. They are the two moons of the era and its pride
Relieving the kingdom from shame and disgrace

6. They brought forth sincere care and attention for it
In the affairs of the overseers

7. Corruption had mounted up
But it was lowered by the reform of these two

8. And this brings happiness to Abdullah among them
For he is their outstanding youth

9. A crescent whose light the nights did not scatter
So the passage of time did not diminish it

10. Sovereignty accompanies him without fading
And resembles him in similar duality

11. As you placed a line in a book
And did not dot it with a mark after a mark

12. A minister whose days are ascending in glory
With hands unfettered against his enemies

13. He debases wealth by giving generously
And the path of generosity is difficult except for the gentle

14. Time will fulfill him with lengthened life
For the possession of leadership is every debt

15. Robes of honor became lost in seeking him
Of lofty spirit and prominent heights

16. Their blackness eclipsed the darkness of nights
As the blackness of kohl eclipses the two eyelids

17. With a belt in which jewelry shines
As the stars of Pleiades and Orion shone

18. Jeweled clasps are fastened from it
Polished of delicate blade

19. As an opinion from him that acts in the nights
And in the days the action of the active

20. May God raise our masters all
And maintain them with lasting permanence

21. And keep from them the claws of death
In their life's nearness and in its distance

22. And a kingdom for people and era of serenity
That sees its enemies in every evil condition

23. How they were blamed for excessive righteousness
But they did not listen to the rebuke of the two blamers

24. I say with what I know truthful words
Far from lies and disgrace in manner

25. They indeed protected the ministry after violation
And adorned it though it was unsightly

26. With enlightened perspective for the loyalists
And difficult for the enemies without softness

27. And pens that judge the adversaries
With the judgement of sword and sturdy spear

28. And the spear in them suffices over argument
And the sword suffices over reforming the deviant

29. And books flap with what they prohibited
By which is the reform of the two flappers

30. You see the destinies ascending to him
Pulled between submission and obedience

31. Your reward for reforming a kingdom
Is the reward of martyrs of Uhud or Hunayn

32. You cultivated the sons of the noble for a period
In which cultivation for one with two arms lengthens

33. Muhammad added to your prominence
And Ya'qub the noble of the two sides

34. You inherited from them generosity and merit
Thus comes the progeny of the two virtuous

35. You repaired what was between my two eras
Out of nobility despite the enmity

36. I will fulfill in praising you rights
As the rights of two parents are fulfilled
