We bear witness that its like will not be seen
١. إِذا ما اِنقَضى مَجلِسٌ لِلوَزير
شَهدنا بِأَن لا نَرى مِثلَه
2. Should it convene again, his deeds therein
Will bring forth novelties that put the past in the shade
٢. فَإِن عادَ أَبدَعَ في فِعلِه
بَدائِعَ تُنسي الَّذي قَبلَه
