1. I am more deserving of the caliphate
Than Ja'far son of Muhammad
١. من بِالخِلافَة أَولى
من جَعفَر بن مُحَمَّد
2. And who has more right to a promise
Than the supported commander
٢. وَمَن أَحَق بعهد
من الأَمير المُؤَيَّد
3. I am the one hoped for today
And the one hoped for tomorrow
٣. من المُؤمّلِ في اليَو
مِ وَالمُؤَمَّلِ في الغَد
