Do you think we've been struck by folly and fraud?

4. The foreigner has benefited from every difference,
So separation and arrogance were inevitable.

5. We were intoxicated, never waking, so a valley was lost,
Which we inherited, as the lines attest.

6. For us the heavens of this life,
For others the theaters and breaches.

7. For us in our kingdom, huts to dwell in,
For others, the fortresses and palaces.

8. And he who seeks the precious deems himself huge,
As brides and dowries differ.

9. If we haven't built a house for glories,
Tombs and homes are equal.

10. If we haven't protected with zeal,
Where is your zealous people, by your Lord?
