1. I entrusted my affairs to the One
Whom I took as my trusted ally

2. If I take a step
He guides me to the right path

3. If I get hungry, He is my Provider
With little or with plenty

4. And if I get thirsty, He tells me
Drink from the cup or the stream

5. For God is the best Guardian
In every difficult matter

6. Help me, my Lord, so do not
Leave me to my own devices

7. Help from my neighbor and home
And passion and envy

8. Help from the whispers of worry
My surroundings and children

9. Help from my poverty to a creature
And wealth without purpose

10. Help from a world that betrayed me
Help from the horror of tomorrow

11. Help me, my Lord, for none
Other than You is my pillar

12. My Lord, I call on You, for as long
As I live, You take me by the hand

13. There is no escape from the inevitable
So be gentle and guide me

14. I seek refuge, I sought refuge, from
The tyrants of this land

15. I say, He is Allah, the One
I entered the fortress of the One

16. And I handed over my affairs to Him
Glory be to Him, the Eternal
